This site is quite remarkable because this is a shared Black-browed Albatross / Rockhopper Penguin / Imperial Shag collony. On a relatively small area hundruds of these animals have their nesting grounds. The territory and nest of the birds is heavily defended agains attacks from their neighbours. Nests are build from little rocks which are rare in the collony. Neighbours tend to steal the rocks litteraly from under each others nose.
