Although this seems a happy family, in fact a tragedy happened as their young chick died recently. These penguins are well protected here. The nature guide checked the nest some moments after this picture was taken.. .It seemed as if the penguin who cared for the chick told what happened. After that, the penguins performed beautiful but sad welcome ritual. |
